Matt Swetland feeling the Cabin vibe in 1985 |

1995 |
In the winter of 1995, a huge storm dropped a few feet of snow on top of the old cabin roof, causing it to cave
in. During the Spring thaw, the log walls followed suit, exactly 20 years after the adolescent fort had been erected.
The cabin fell in relative obscurity, whilest the Cabin Crew members toiled in the outside world, creating careers
and forming families.
"Yessir, I watched a big-ass snowstorm knock down the cabin" noted Wimpy Swetland. "I thought it woulda
lasted longer than that...but you know Mother Nature."
Within four years, gravity had knocked down all of the cabin logs, which deteriorated away into the new millenium.
Only a few hunters would even recognize the area around the old cabin.
Fortunately, the original photo of Bigfoot that Rob took at Bigfoot Cliff along Dodge Creek was saved.
