The 1966 Portville Football Team
was coached by the legendary Bob Connell, and most of the players were key monsters in the undefeated season of 1965.
They finished at 6-2, chalking up some huge victories over Bolivar, Port A, Cuba, Allegany, Otto-Eldred, and Coudersport. The offense scored over 30 points five times, led by a number of horses.
Gene Bingman was named the Big 30 player of the year by the Olean Times Herald, while Paul St. Clair (5th) and Mike Connell (7th) also gained votes for the award.
Assistant Coaches: John Dubots, Massey Booth, Mel Van Curen, Mr. Adams
